Nigerian Airforce Deploys more Fighter Jets to Maidiguri

The Nigerian Airforce yesterday had deployed more fighter jets to Maiduguri, the troubled Borno State following the recent attack on its airbase recently.

News reports as of yesterday night said the number of insurgents killed by air raids is still unknown at the moment.

The 24 hours curfew imposed on citizens of the state has been reduced to 12hours due to reduction of attack by the insurgents.

The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshall Alex Sobundu has also moved his base to maiduguri to coordinate air attack on the insurgents. Kudos to him for taking a bold step.
