Mandela : FG Declares 3 Days Mourning to Anti Apartheid Revolutionary

The Federal Government of Nigeria has declared 3 days National mourning to the former South-African President that ruled between 1994-1999. Mandela who died last night the 5th of December, 2013 in Johannesburg.

has declared three days
mourning for the late freedom
fighter and former President of
South Africa, Dr Nelson Mandela
who died onThursday.

Jonathan made this declaration
while in Paris, France,
attending a summit on peace and
security in Africa.
During the three days mourning,
flags are to be flown at half
mast in all the states of the
country.

He also called for special
prayers in churches and mosques
throughout Nigeria.
World leaders have since
Thursday paid tribute to the
former South African leader for
his selfless service for the
liberation of his people and
indeed Africa.
